Sepro launches Hungary sales office following record sales

France-based injection moulding machinery parts and robot manufacturer Sepro Group has announced the recent launch of a new sales and services office, Sepro Austria Hungary, in Budapest, Hungary.

The announcement comes after Sepro saw its third record sales year in a row, seeing sales of €92.8m in 2015, a 17% increase on 2014.

Jean-Michel Renaudeau, CEO of Sepro said: “We owe a big part of our success in recent years to increased globalisation. As we have expanded around the world, however, we have learned how important it is to be local in the regions we serve. Several of our key customers have operations in Austria and Hungary and these countries have a growing automotive sector that needs robots. Our aim is to offer local sales and service support and to be closer to our customers so we can offer them more robot choices.”

Sepro has named Csaba Jozan, who has 16 years of plastics industry experience, including 7 years representing Sepro in the region, as sales manager of Austria Hungary. The company's sales and service office will be sharing premises in Budapest with Sumitomo Demag.

Sepro says it has invested in expanding operations in the US and Germany, which are its two largest markets outside France, and is also building its base in developing markets like Brazil and China. It launched a new company in Canada in January.

Sepro currently has 400 employees and says that it has equipped more than 30,000 injection-moulding machines worldwide.
