Rexam cuts US closure units

Rexam is to close one of its 16 injection moulding plants in North America as part of a strategy intended to optimise its capacity balance.

The plant at Bowling Green, in Ohio, was a part of the $1.8bn (€1.2bn) Owens-Illinois closures business acquired by the company last year. Production will be switched to other sites.
